Local Travel

My idea of travel used to be save up a load of cash, buy a plane ticket and go see  “the sites” eat out every night and maybe have ur family with you or something. Don’t get me wrong that’s awesome but sometimes you just want to escape! if even just for a little. Recently I have completely changed my idea of “travel” it doesn’t involve going anywhere far and or spending lots of money. Allow me to try and explain with some examples..,

step outside get some fresh air maybe go for a walk head in  whatever direction that looks best to you. Pick off  a leaf from a tree put it in your pocket  J  You would be surprised how much fun you can have.  You may discover somewhere or something cool (who honestly ever regrets going on a walk I mean come on!)

try going out to somewhere you have never been before maybe try a new place to eat, find some entertainment  maybe some live music, art, or comedy 

Drive just far enough where you start becoming unfamiliar with the roads get out  and sit on the hood and have a conversation maybe take some photos wail u shuffle through some songs.

As much as you think you know your town there is endless potential to create a special memory and get your head away from the everyday routine. Do the best you can with what you have. Just do what makes you happy and if you are so lucky share those experiences with people that make you smile and let what’s happening happen.

Im not at ALL much of a singer but its been what seems like forever since I recorded anything longer than 30 seconds. Anyways I got a sweet deal on a new microphone on amazon.com (chea!) its this neat “BLUE Snowball USB” (its got [Nerd* lol] 2 polar patterns!) I told you that to tell you this… I actually used this microphone for everything on this recording (minus the subtle strings) its pretty cool i think ill keep it on my desk to help me take down some ideas.
